This medication is used for various muscle and nerve-related pains such as neuralgia, muscle spasms, joint pain, lower back pain, sprains, and shoulder pain, as well as conditions associated with muscle tension.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Take 2 tablets per dose, up to 4 times a day while avoiding an empty stomach. Adjust as appropriate for age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication may pose a risk of liver damage or gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day; therefore, consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This medication contains acetaminophen, and taking it with other acetaminophen products may exceed the maximum daily dose of 4,000mg, leading to potential liver damage, so caution is advised. This medication should not be used by individuals with allergies to chlorzoxazone or acetaminophen. Patients with severe liver or kidney impairment, as well as those with a history of drug allergies, should use this medication with additional caution. If allergic symptoms such as hives, redness, or itching occur during use, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and rare occurrences of skin rash, bleeding, or changes in urine color may occur. If liver function abnormalities arise, this medication should be discontinued, and caution should be taken as gastrointestinal disorders or gastrointestinal bleeding may occur. Additionally, neurological symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, and excessive excitement may arise. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only take this medication if the benefits outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established during pregnancy. Caution is advised when taking this medication with alcohol or central nervous system depressants, as side effects may be exacerbated.
