Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to this drug or its ingredients or who have previously experienced hypersensitivity reactions. It should also not be used by individuals with certain diseases such as syphilis or tuberculosis. It is advisable not to use this medication if there are viral or animal-induced skin infections such as shingles, herpes, chickenpox, scabies, or tinea. Those who have experienced abnormal reactions following vaccination should exercise caution when using this medication. Individuals with fungal infections or perioral dermatitis, or rosacea should also refrain from using this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, should consult a physician or pharmacist before using this medication, as its safety has not been fully established, and prolonged or excessive use should be avoided whenever possible. Children may absorb the medication through the skin more readily than adults, increasing the risk of side effects; therefore, care should be taken not to apply it to skin folds where it may become occluded. Elderly individuals may also experience adverse reactions, and careful monitoring is required when using this medication in large amounts or over long periods on wide areas of skin. If vision becomes blurred or abnormalities occur in the visual field while using this medication, it should be discontinued immediately, and an ophthalmologist should be consulted. In addition, prolonged or excessive use may suppress pituitary or adrenal function, requiring caution. If skin infections develop or symptoms such as skin irritation, rash, itching, redness, or skin dryness occur, usage should be discontinued immediately, and a professional should be consulted. Prolonged use can lead to various skin issues such as steroid-induced acne, skin atrophy, telangiectasia, and perioral dermatitis. This medication can rarely cause allergic reactions or neuropsychiatric reactions, so caution is advised. Continuous use for more than 6 months can lead to exacerbation of atopic dermatitis, skin changes, excessive hair growth, and other side effects. This medication should be used externally only and care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. Corticosteroids may mask symptoms of infections, so careful observation is necessary in suspected cases of infection, and consultation with a professional is advised if needed. Finally, this medication should be stored out of the reach of children.
