Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who have previously shown allergic reactions to this drug or any of its components. Furthermore, it is advisable for children under 1 year old not to use this medication. It is recommended not to use other eye drops while using this medication. When taking orally, ketotifen fumarate can enhance the effects when combined with central nervous system depressants, antihistamines, or alcohol. Additionally, mixing it with oral diet pills may temporarily decrease platelet levels. After applying this medication, vision may be blurry, so it is advisable to refrain from driving or operating machinery until vision returns to normal. Drowsiness or sedative effects may rarely occur, so caution is needed during these activities. Patients undergoing treatment or allergy therapies, or those with a history of drug allergies, should consult a professional before using this drug. It is also safe to consult a professional if there is itching or pain in the eyes, or if the individual is pregnant or nursing. If eye redness, irritation, or itching persist, or if eyelid inflammation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If blurred vision does not improve, if symptoms worsen, or if there is no improvement after one week, consult a professional. Using this medication may cause temporary local irritation such as stinging, redness, swelling, or itching. The prescribed dosage and method of use must be strictly followed, and it should be used only for the purpose of ocular instillation. Care must be taken to avoid contaminating the solution by not allowing the tip of the container to touch eyelids or eyelashes, and do not use solutions that are contaminated or cloudy. It is recommended not to share it with others, and if using other eye drops, maintain a minimum interval of 5 minutes between applications. If this medication is accidentally ingested orally, the risk of overdose is low. The preservative benzalkonium chloride contained in this medication may adhere to contact lenses; therefore, it should not be used while wearing lenses, and lenses should be worn only after a minimum of 15 minutes post-application. Store this medication in a tightly sealed container, as it may be sensitive to air or moisture. The storage temperature should be maintained between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. This will help maintain the medication's efficacy and safety for an extended period. Keep out of reach of children, store in the original container, and make sure to tightly close it. Transferring to another container may risk degrading the quality of the medication or misuse.
