This medication is used to improve epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by both endogenous conditions, such as Sjögren's syndrome and Stevens-Johnson syndrome, as well as exogenous conditions arising from surgery, medication, trauma, or contact lens use.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

0.1% or 0.3% formulation: instill 1 drop 5-6 times a day. The dose can be adjusted appropriately according to symptoms. Typically, the 0.1% formulation is administered; if the effect is insufficient in severe conditions, the 0.3% formulation is administered.

Precautions

This medication is an eye drop containing sodium hyaluronate as the active ingredient, and it is used to relieve dryness or irritation of the eyes. Patients with allergies to the components or protein-based medications should not use this product. During use, symptoms such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, or corneal disorders may occur, and if these symptoms arise, use should be immediately discontinued and a doctor should be consulted. Rarely, discharge or eye pain may occur, so these symptoms should also be monitored closely. It is advisable not to use this medication simultaneously with other eye drops; if it must be used together, the other eye drops should be administered first, then this medication should be used after approximately 30 minutes. This product should be used only for ophthalmic purposes and care should be taken not to let the tip of the container touch the eyelid or eyelashes to avoid contamination. Additionally, this medication should not be used while wearing soft contact lenses, and lenses should not be inserted until at least 15 minutes after use. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded after opening, and any remaining solution should not be reused and should be disposed of immediately after opening. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool place. Also, to maintain quality, it should not be transferred to other containers, and it is safest to avoid sharing it whenever possible.
