Precautions

This medication should not be taken by children under 6 years of age or by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Taking it during pregnancy may pose a risk of uterine contractions or premature birth. Nursing mothers should also avoid it, as the ingredients can be transferred through breast milk, potentially causing diarrhea in the baby. Patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic disorders should also not take this medication. While taking this medication, do not use other antidiarrheal medications simultaneously. Patients with hypertension, heart or kidney conditions, or edema, as well as those experiencing diarrhea or with a weak stomach, should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Special caution is also advised for individuals with appetite loss, nausea, vomiting, those who are very weak, or those who have previously experienced allergic reactions to medications. It is also advisable to consult professionals if taking other medications or if elderly. If side effects such as swelling of the face or extremities or an increase in blood pressure occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Muscle weakness, spasms, skin rash, and symptoms of indigestion may also occur as side effects, so caution is advised. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after several days of taking the medication, it is recommended to stop use and seek advice. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and quantity; individual responses to the rhubarb ingredient can vary, so caution is necessary. Long-term use is generally avoided, and if absolutely necessary, professional consultation is required. Stimulant laxatives should not be used for more than one week, as long-term use may diminish effectiveness and worsen constipation. Children should use this medication under the supervision of an adult. Taking this medication along with potassium-containing preparations or certain diuretics may result in hypokalemia or muscle-related issues, so it should be used with caution. Care should also be taken to avoid overlapping ingredients when taking it with other herbal preparations. This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container away from direct sunlight and dampness, and kept out of the reach of children. It is important to keep it in its original container and not transfer it to another.
