Alon Eye Drops (Sodium Hyaluronate) (Single-use)

Adult eye dose

For 0.1% and 0.3% preparations, instill 1 drop 5-6 times a day. Adjust as appropriate according to symptoms. Usually, the 0.1% preparation is administered, and in cases where efficacy is insufficient for severe conditions, the 0.3% preparation may be used.

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to protein-based drugs. Using this medication may result in eye-related side effects such as eyelid itching, eye irritation, conjunctivitis, eye redness, and keratitis. Rarely, symptoms such as discharge or eye pain may occur; if these symptoms appear, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Also, hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur, so these symptoms should be closely monitored. There may be an increased risk of side effects when used in conjunction with other eye drops such as steroid preparations, dry eye treatments, and antibacterial agents, so caution is advised. This medication should not be used simultaneously with other eye drops; it is important to use other eye drops first and then use this medication after about 30 minutes. For ocular use only, take care not to let the tip of the container touch the eyelid or eyelashes to prevent contamination of the medication. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded before use; after opening, it should be used only once and any remaining medication should be disposed of. It is advisable not to share this medication with others and to keep it out of reach of children. Store it away from direct sunlight and in a cool place, and do not transfer the medication to another container.
