Precautions

This medication contains flurbiprofen, and it is very important not to use it in certain patients. First, patients who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or other flurbiprofen products should not use it. Additionally, patients with a history of asthma attacks triggered by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs known as aspirin-induced asthma should avoid this medication. In patients with bronchial asthma, special caution is required as this medication may trigger an asthma attack. If skin redness, rashes, itching, burning sensation, or contact dermatitis appear while using this medication, use should be stopped immediately. Furthermore, if early symptoms of an asthma attack such as wheezing, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing occur, stop using this medication and consult a healthcare professional. This medication helps alleviate symptoms, but it is not a cure for the underlying cause, so this should be kept in mind. When used on inflamed areas with skin infections, infections may remain concealed, so concomitant use with antibiotics or antifungals is necessary, and careful observation of the condition is required. When used for chronic conditions like degenerative arthritis, other treatment methods should be considered alongside medication, and careful attention should be given to any side effects. In general, it is better to avoid use during early and mid-pregnancy unless specifically required, and if necessary, use the minimum dose for the shortest duration. In late pregnancy, it should never be used due to serious health risks for both the fetus and the mother. For children, safety has not been sufficiently confirmed, so use should be cautious. In elderly patients, it is necessary to carefully check the skin condition at the application site when using this medication. Do not apply this medication to damaged skin or areas with mucosal lesions, eczema, or rashes. Finally, before applying this medication, it is important to thoroughly clean the sweat from the area.
