Precautions

This drug contains the active ingredient flurbiprofen, and individuals allergic to this medication or similar components should not use it. Patients with asthma or a history of aspirin-induced asthma should be cautious when using this medication as it may trigger asthma attacks. Asthma patients should be particularly careful when using this medication; if they experience difficulty breathing or wheezing, they should discontinue use immediately. This medication may cause redness, rashes, itching, and burning sensations on the skin; in such cases, use should be stopped. This medication is a treatment that alleviates symptoms, not a drug that treats the underlying cause, so this should be understood and taken into account when used. If there is an infection or inflammation on the skin, there may be a risk of worsening the infection, so it should be used together with antibiotics or antifungal agents and the condition should be closely monitored. When used for chronic diseases such as degenerative arthritis, other treatment methods should also be considered along with drug therapy, and the occurrence of side effects should be monitored carefully. It should not be used during early and mid-pregnancy except in special cases; if it must be used, the dose should be lower and the duration should be shorter. In the last trimester of pregnancy, use of this medication can cause heart and kidney problems in the fetus, and may prolong bleeding during delivery or delay labor, so it must not be used. Safety in children has not been sufficiently confirmed, so its use is not recommended. In elderly patients, it should be used cautiously while monitoring the skin condition closely. This medication should not be applied to damaged skin, mucous membranes, or areas of eczema or rash, and the sweat on the area should be cleanly wiped off before application.
