Precautions

This medication may occasionally cause allergic reactions such as rashes or itching on the skin; if such symptoms occur, use should be discontinued immediately. Do not mix this product with other disinfectants, as combining them may reduce their efficacy. When using a catheter washed with this medication for urine tests, be aware that it may lead to inaccurate results in some tests. If this medication gets into the eyes, wash thoroughly with clean water for more than 15 minutes and seek immediate appropriate treatment. If this medication is accidentally swallowed, rinse the mouth well with water, consume water or milk, and do not induce vomiting; go to the hospital quickly. This drug should only be applied to the skin, and it is advisable to dilute it when using on inflamed or sensitive areas. When used on deep wounds or around the eyes, sterile water for injection or distilled water should be used, avoiding tap water or regular purified water. Take care to prevent concentrated or stock solution from getting into the eyes, and wash immediately with clean water if it does. When using concentrated solutions, be cautious as they may cause irritation to the skin or mucosa, and it is safer not to use them on mucous membranes or wound areas for extended periods or over large areas. Soap and similar products may reduce the bactericidal effect of this medication, so ensure it is thoroughly rinsed off before use. When soaking metallic instruments for an extended period, use a solution containing sodium nitrite to prevent corrosion, and avoid soaking copper products for long periods due to difficult corrosion prevention.
