Tiromax Tablets (Tiropramide Hydrochloride)

Adult dose

Adults: Administer 100㎎ of tiropramide hydrochloride per dose orally 2-3 times daily. Adjust the dose as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used in patients with narrowed or blocked gastrointestinal tracts. Patients with megacolon or intestinal paralysis should also not take this medication. Additionally, individuals with allergies to this medication should refrain from use. Patients with severe liver dysfunction should not use this medication. This medication contains lactose; those with a genetic condition that prevents proper digestion of lactose should avoid use. Although this medication does not have anticholinergic effects, caution should be exercised when using it in patients with glaucoma or benign prostatic hyperplasia. Side effects such as dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, and constipation may occur. If allergic symptoms such as itching or skin rash appear, use should be discontinued immediately. Caution should be taken if this medication is taken in conjunction with blood pressure-lowering medications, as excessive use may lead to too low blood pressure. Pregnant women should use this medication only under the direction of a physician and carefully consider its effects on pregnancy and the fetus. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children, and transferring it to another container may result in accidents or deterioration of the drug quality, so it should always be kept in its original packaging.
