Candida vaginitis is a common fungal infection in women. This condition can cause itching, increased discharge, and pain in the vagina. This medication is used to alleviate these symptoms and treat the infection.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

100 mg: Usually, 1 time a day, insert 100 mg of clotrimazole deep into the vagina at bedtime for a continuous 6 days. Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to its active ingredient or other constituents. It is important not to take this medication together with certain immunosuppressants such as Tacrolimus or Sirolimus during the treatment. During this medication's use, it is preferable to refrain from using tampons, vaginal cleansing agents, and other vaginal insertion products, and also to avoid vaginal intercourse as it may transmit the infection to the partner. This medication should not come into contact with the eyes and must not be ingested. If high fever, abdominal pain, foul-smelling vaginal discharge, nausea, or vaginal bleeding occurs, immediate medical consultation is necessary. The risk of acute intoxication from overdose is low, but prompt medical attention is needed if taken excessively by mistake. This medication may weaken rubber products such as condoms or vaginal diaphragms, so caution is needed. This medication is intended for vaginal use only and is recommended for children aged 12 and older and adults.
