Relief of digestive symptoms such as stomach pain and heartburn
This medication is used for symptoms of digestive disorders such as stomach pain, heartburn, indigestion, and nausea.
Adults (ages 15 and above, under 80): Take 2 tablets at a time; if symptoms do not improve after more than 5 hours, take another 2 tablets. However, do not exceed 2 doses (4 tablets) per day.
This medication should not be administered to patients receiving treatment for blood disorders or kidney, liver, stomach, duodenal diseases, and immune system diseases such as asthma or rheumatism. Patients taking steroids, antibiotics, anticancer medications, azole antifungals, etc., should exercise caution as this medication may cause side effects. Patients with a history of blood abnormalities such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenia may have an increased risk of reduced blood cell counts when taking this medication. Individuals who have had allergic reactions to histamine H₂-receptor antagonists should avoid this medication, and it is also advisable not to use it for children under 15 years old and the elderly over 80 years old as safety has not been established. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, and breastfeeding women should avoid this medication as its safety has not been confirmed and the drug may be transmitted through breast milk, necessitating discontinuation of breastfeeding. Patients undergoing dialysis treatments should consult their healthcare provider before using this medication. Since this medication may interact with other drugs, individuals with current medical conditions or those taking other medications should use it carefully after consulting with a doctor. Individuals with a history of drug allergies should also exercise caution before taking this medication. Elderly patients over 65 years old should be especially careful as their physical functions may be impaired. If symptoms such as sore throat, cough, or high fever occur, this medication may worsen symptoms or hide side effects, requiring consultation with healthcare providers before use. Patients experiencing unexplained weight loss or persistent abdominal pain should also discontinue use and seek professional medical advice, as other disorders may be present. If allergic symptoms, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, muscle pain, etc., occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms such as chest tightness, pale face, cold hands and feet, sweating, or shortness of breath appear, discontinue use immediately and visit a medical institution. If a rash accompanied by high fever or severe skin symptoms, abnormality in oral and throat mucosa, tendency to bleed, or jaundice occurs, immediate consultation with a specialist is necessary. If symptoms do not improve after three days of use, discontinuation and consultation with a doctor are required as this may indicate another disease, and prolonged use beyond two weeks is not recommended. It is advisable to avoid alcoholic beverages while taking this medication, not exceed the prescribed dosage, and not take it with other gastrointestinal medications for safety. Individuals with kidney disease should consult their healthcare provider before use, and store it in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
Rash, redness (hyperemia), itching, swelling, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, muscle pain, sore throat, malaise, whitening of the inside of the face and eyelids, increased bleeding tendency (gum bleeding, nosebleeds, etc.)
