Precautions

This medication contains a steroid ingredient that is used to relieve skin inflammation and itching. However, it should not be used in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medication, those with ear disease accompanied by tympanic membrane perforation, patients with ulcers or severe burns, patients with certain skin diseases, and children under 2 years old should also avoid its use. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, children, the elderly, and those allergic to propylene glycol contained in this medication should use it with caution. During use, various skin side effects such as skin infections, skin irritation, rash, and itching may occur, and the use should be immediately discontinued if symptoms appear. Prolonged use may lead to changes such as thinning of the skin or dilation of blood vessels, so caution is advised. Additionally, extensive or prolonged use may cause systemic side effects, requiring regular examinations. Caution should be taken when using it around the eyes due to the risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma, and it should not be used for ophthalmic purposes. The treatment period is usually limited to within 7 days, and it is advisable to discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should carefully consider the risks and benefits of using this medication, and pediatric patients should be cautious as they absorb more medication relative to body weight, increasing the risk of side effects. Elderly patients are at a higher risk of side effects, so closer observation is necessary during use. This medication should not be used for non-treatment purposes such as after makeup or shaving, and when using occlusive dressing methods, it must be done under a doctor's instructions. Finally, it should be stored out of reach of children.
