Adjust atenolol dosage according to creatinine clearance: - 15-35 mL/min/1.73 m²: 50 mg daily - <15 mL/min/1.73 m²: 50 mg every other day Adjust as appropriate based on age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with allergies to specific ingredients, bradycardia, heart conduction disorders, cardiogenic shock, hypotension, metabolic acidosis, severe peripheral vascular issues, dysfunction syndromes, uncontrolled severe heart failure, anuria, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders.
