SM Gel 9.6% (Lidocaine)

Adult dosage

Apply 0.25 to 0.66 grams (23 to 62 milligrams of lidocaine) of the product 5 to 15 minutes before intercourse. The dosage and application time may vary individually, and the minimum effective amount should be used. Do not exceed 2 grams (184 milligrams of lidocaine) within 24 hours.

This medicine should not be used if you or your partner have an allergic reaction to this medication or other amide-type local anesthetics. Do not apply this medicine to areas with wounds or inflammation. It is safer not to use this medicine during pregnancy. Patients with liver or kidney problems should use this medicine with caution. This medicine contains propylene glycol, so caution is necessary for those who are allergic or hypersensitive to this ingredient. If you experience rash or irritation on the skin while using this product, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician if symptoms persist. Prolonged use for more than 3 months without a doctor's instruction should be avoided. This medicine is for external use only and should not be applied to the eyes or nose. Repeated application to the same area is not recommended. Keep this medicine out of reach of children or infants in a safe place.
