This medication is used for various neural and pain-related diseases including stroke, migraine, joint and neuralgia, low back pain, muscle pain, postpartum syndrome, sciatica, inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, as well as facial nerve paralysis, peripheral nerve paralysis, and cold extremities.
Typically, adults take 5 to 7 granules (single dose) 3 times a day after meals with water boiled from the root of the plant or plain water.
This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Patients who have significantly weakened physical strength after an illness should consult a specialist before taking this medication. Patients with high blood pressure should be cautious as symptoms may worsen with this medication. Elderly patients should be especially careful as their physical functions may have declined; dosage may need to be reduced. Patients with heart disease should consult a specialist as symptoms may worsen with this medication. Patients with renal dysfunction should also consult a specialist before taking this medication. Patients with edema in their body should be cautious when using this medication. Patients undergoing treatment for other diseases or taking other medications should consult a specialist before using this medication. Those with weak stomachs may experience decreased appetite, discomfort, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc., after taking this medication, and should be cautious. Patients who sweat excessively may experience excessive sweating and general fatigue when taking this medication. Patients with hyperthyroidism may experience worsening of symptoms when taking this medication, so consultation with a specialist is necessary. Patients with urinary disorders should also be cautious as symptoms may worsen with this medication. Patients with decreased appetite, nausea, or vomiting may find that symptoms worsen with this medication. Diabetic patients should be cautious as the ingredients in this medication may raise blood sugar levels. Safety for children has not been sufficiently confirmed; it is advisable not to use this medication in children. If swelling of the face or hands and feet occurs, or if blood pressure rises and headaches develop during use of this medication, immediately stop taking it and consult a specialist. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, convulsions, or paralysis appear, stop taking this medication and inform a specialist. If gastrointestinal symptoms such as decreased appetite, discomfort, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea occur, cease use and consult a specialist. If problems with urination, insomnia, excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, palpitations, general fatigue, or mental agitation occur, immediately cease use and consult a specialist. If a rash develops on the skin, stop taking the medication and inform a specialist. If symptoms do not improve after several days of use, stop taking the medication and consult a specialist. Always adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines. Care should be taken when using this medication in conjunction with other drugs that contain potassium or glycyrrhiza, as well as certain diuretics, as it may cause hypokalemia or muscle abnormalities. When taking this medication with other herbal medicines, ensure that there is no overlap in ingredients. Long-term use should be avoided in principle; if long-term use is unavoidable, consult a specialist. Taking this medication with ephedra, ephedrine, thyroid medications, or certain heart medications may result in side effects such as insomnia, excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, or palpitations, so caution is advised. It is recommended to avoid hot or spicy foods for at least 1 hour after taking this medication. Patients with gastric ulcers or hyperacidity should be cautious and consider reducing the dosage. This medication should be stored in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture, and should be tightly sealed after use. It must be kept out of reach of children. Transferring this medication to a different container from its original may degrade quality or lead to misuse, so it should always be stored in its original container.
