This medication helps relieve heartburn and discomfort in the stomach caused by excess stomach acid, as well as stomach bloating and a feeling of fullness. It is also used to alleviate symptoms of nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and belching. It is particularly effective in improving various gastrointestinal symptoms related to dyspepsia.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults take 1 tablet three times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by individuals with a history of allergic reactions, those receiving dialysis treatment, patients with hypermagnesemia, hyperphosphatemia, constipation, bowel obstruction, acute appendicitis, women in the first three months of pregnancy, and children under 7 years old. It is important not to take tetracycline antibiotics concurrently with this medication. If you are taking other medications, especially antacids containing aluminum, consult with your doctor or pharmacist, as interactions may occur. Taking medications with aluminum can affect the absorption of the drug. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a healthcare professional, as it is uncertain whether this medication passes into breast milk. Patients with impaired kidney function should adjust the dosage when taking this medication over the long term, as there is a risk of hypermagnesemia. If symptoms such as diarrhea, constipation, abdominal bloating, skin rash, numbness, phosphate deficiency, dry mouth, taste disturbances, headache, drowsiness, dizziness, or weakness occur during use, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, and when swallowing the medication, do so quickly without allowing it to linger in the mouth. Do not continue taking this medication for extended periods, and exercise caution to prevent aluminum accumulation in nervous tissue and bones. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, store it tightly closed in its original container, and avoid direct sunlight and moisture by storing it in a cool place.
