Relief of inflammation and pain associated with chronic multiple arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
This medication can be used for joint-related conditions such as chronic multiple arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, arthrosis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It is also helpful in alleviating pain and swelling or inflammation that occurs after trauma or surgery. Additionally, it is used to assist in the treatment of infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever, improving the symptoms based on these effects.
For dexibuprofen, 300 mg should be taken orally 2 to 4 times a day. However, do not exceed 1,200 mg of dexibuprofen in one day.
This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who consume more than three alcoholic drinks daily, so it is essential to consult with a doctor or pharmacist. The medication can affect the cardiovascular system and may increase the risk of myocardial infarction or stroke, so caution is needed for individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors. Individuals with ulcers or bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract or a history thereof should not take this medication. Patients with severe liver disease, kidney disease, heart failure, or hypertension should also avoid taking this medication. Taking this medication along with aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, so it is safest not to use them together. Pregnant women over six months of pregnancy should not use this medication as it may harm the fetus. Dizziness or fatigue may occur while taking this medication, so caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. Women who are breastfeeding should discontinue nursing or stop taking this medication, as it may be transmitted through breast milk and cause adverse reactions in the baby. Prolonged high-dose use of this medication may cause headaches. Before taking this medication, individuals with blood disorders, bleeding tendencies, liver or kidney diseases, heart failure, hypertension, or a history of allergies should consult with a doctor or pharmacist. This medication may interact with various other medications, so if you are taking other drugs, be sure to consult a specialist. If severe skin rashes, difficulty breathing, sudden swelling, severe abdominal pain, or decreased urine output occur while taking this medication, stop taking it immediately and consult a medical professional. This medication should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration, with regular blood tests and liver and kidney function monitoring. Especially elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should be especially cautious as the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding is higher when taking this medication. In case of overdose, even if symptoms are not present, visit the hospital immediately for appropriate treatment, and keep the medication out of reach of children, avoiding direct sunlight, and storing it in a cool, dry place.
