How to take

Adult dose

2 grams per dose, 3 times a day (4 grams for the first dose).

Precautions

This medication can be taken with antibiotics, but it is recommended not to take it together with specific antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin, imipenem, and cilastatin sodium. This medication contains lactose, so it should not be used in patients with a genetic problem that impairs lactose digestion. For example, those with galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication.
