Relief of stomach pain and indigestion (heartburn, nausea)
Stomach pain, heartburn, indigestion, and nausea are typical symptoms of gastrointestinal diseases. This medication is used to relieve stomach-related issues.
Adults (15 years and older, under 80 years): Take 2 tablets at a time, and if symptoms do not improve after more than 5 hours, take another 2 tablets. However, do not exceed a total of 4 tablets in one day.
This medication should not be used by patients with blood disorders, kidney diseases, liver diseases, gastric or duodenal diseases, asthma, or autoimmune conditions such as rheumatism. This medication may cause blood-related side effects such as leukopenia or thrombocytopenia, so caution is especially necessary for individuals with such conditions or those undergoing treatment. Caution is required when taken with steroids, antibiotics, chemotherapy agents, or azole antifungals as side effects may worsen. Individuals with a history of blood abnormalities such as erythrocytopenia, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenia may have an increased risk of decreased blood cell counts while taking this medication. Those with allergies or hypersensitivity to histamine H2-receptor antagonists should avoid this medication. It is not recommended for children under 15 years old or elderly individuals over 80 years old, as the safety has not been established. In particular, elderly patients should be cautious as decreased kidney function may lead to accumulation of the drug and stronger effects. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women, should avoid this medication. This medication can be passed through breast milk, so breastfeeding should be avoided while taking it; if taken, breastfeeding should be discontinued. Patients receiving dialysis treatment should also avoid this medication. This medication contains lactose, and it should not be administered to patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders. Those taking other medications or receiving medical treatment should consult a healthcare provider due to the potential for drug interactions causing side effects or reduced efficacy. Individuals who have previously had allergic reactions to medications should also exercise caution. Elderly patients over 65 years old should take this medication with care due to significant differences in physical function. Caution should be exercised if this medication is taken during episodes of sore throat, cough, or high fever, as these may worsen infectious diseases. If there is unexplained weight loss or persistent abdominal pain, consult a doctor before taking this medication, as there may be other potential conditions. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 4 (tartrazine), which may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. While taking this medication, rare side effects such as rash, itching, swelling, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, muscle pain, sore throat, fatigue, and easy bleeding (such as gum bleeding and nosebleeds) may occur, so stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional if any unusual symptoms occur. If symptoms such as chest tightness, pallor, cold extremities, cold sweat, or shortness of breath appear, stop taking the medication and consult medical staff immediately. If a rash or blister accompanied by high fever, severe symptoms of oral and throat mucosa, gum bleeding, or jaundice occurs, visit a hospital immediately. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for more than three days, discontinue use and consult a professional as it could be another health condition. It is important not to take this medication for more than two weeks and not to exceed the prescribed dosage. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking this medication, and do not use it in combination with other gastrointestinal medications as side effects may be aggravated. Patients with kidney diseases should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Store this medication out of reach of children and keep it in a cool place, avoiding direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humidity. To maintain quality, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
