It helps alleviate pain, swelling, and inflammation occurring after trauma or surgery. Additionally, it assists in the treatment of various infections accompanied by inflammation, pain, and fever. It is used to improve various kinds of inflammatory and painful conditions.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose of dexibuprofen is 300 mg per dose, administered 2 to 4 times daily. However, the total daily dose of dexibuprofen should not exceed 1,200 mg.

Precautions

This medication may cause gastric bleeding in individuals who frequently consume more than three alcoholic drinks per day, so consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This medication can impact the cardiovascular system, increasing the risk of serious issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke. Caution is especially necessary for those with cardiovascular disease or risk factors, and if such symptoms appear, immediate consultation with medical personnel is required. This medication can cause serious adverse reactions such as gastric bleeding, ulcers, or perforations, with increased risk especially in older individuals or those taking it for a long time. Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with aspirin, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or high doses of methotrexate. Corticosteroids, alcohol, digoxin, phenytoin, probenecid, sulfapyridine, sulfonylureas, ACE inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor antagonists, diuretics, lithium, anticoagulants, baclofen, immunosuppressants, thrombolytics, ticlopidine, antithrombotics, and increase in serum potassium levels.
