It is safest not to use this medication on children under 2 years of age. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, children, and the elderly should exercise particular caution when using this medication. This medication may worsen skin infections, so appropriate antibacterial or antifungal treatment may be necessary before use in cases of skin diseases accompanied by infections. If this medication is used for a long time or on large areas, it may affect the hormonal balance in the body, thus regular check-ups may be necessary. Special caution is advised when applying it around the eyes, as it may lead to increased intraocular pressure or eye diseases such as glaucoma. If any abnormal reactions such as rash, itching, irritation, redness, dryness, or pustules occur on the skin, discontinuation of use should be immediate, and consultation with a physician is required. Prolonged use may lead to thinning skin, pigmentation changes, and side effects like acne; thus, caution is required. In cases of pregnancy or breastfeeding, the use of this medication should be carefully considered and it is preferable to use the minimum dosage necessary when it is required. In children, the drug may be absorbed more compared to their weight, which can lead to growth disorders or hormonal abnormalities; therefore, it should not be used for more than 3 weeks. Elderly patients may experience side effects more easily, so special monitoring is advised when using this medication. This medication is not for ophthalmic use and should not be used for purposes other than treatment, such as after cosmetic applications or shaving. When using occlusive dressing methods like sealing, there is an increased risk of infection, so it should be done strictly following a physician's instructions.
