Treatment of candidal vaginitis
Candidal vaginitis is a type of vaginitis caused by the fungus Candida, typically accompanied by itching and increased discharge. This medication is used to effectively eliminate the fungus causing candidal vaginitis, alleviating symptoms and treating inflammation.
Typically, 1 time per day, insert 500 mg of Clotrimazole deeply into the vagina at bedtime for 1 day.
This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to any of its active or inactive ingredients or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions. While using this medication, it should not be taken with specific immunosuppressants such as Tacrolimus or Sirolimus, as using them together may increase the concentration of these drugs in the blood, requiring caution. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor before using this medication. Animal studies have shown no significant issues regarding reproductive capacity or teratogenesis, but it is advisable to avoid the use of an insert during pregnancy. It is also safer for nursing women to consult a doctor before using this medication. This drug is minimally transmitted through breast milk and has low systemic absorption, but caution is warranted. If any abnormal symptoms occur during use, such as severe allergic reactions, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, abdominal pain, skin rash, or abnormal vaginal discharge, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication should not be used during menstruation, and it is important to address any oral infections in order to ensure complete treatment of the infection. It is advisable to avoid vaginal intercourse while an infection is present or during the use of this medication, and sexual partners may also require treatment. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, and it should never be ingested. If symptoms such as high fever, lower abdominal pain, or foul-smelling vaginal discharge occur, contact a doctor immediately. While the risk of acute poisoning is low in the case of misuse, if an excessive amount is ingested accidentally, it is advisable to seek medical assistance promptly. This medication may weaken rubber products such as condoms or vaginal contraceptive diaphragms, so avoid using them together. This medication is intended for vaginal use only and is safe for children aged 12 years and older and adults only.

Do not use this medication with oral Tacrolimus.
This medication should be stored in a sealed container to avoid exposure to air and it is advisable to keep it in a cool place at temperatures below 25 degrees Celsius. This will help maintain the medication's effectiveness and prevent deterioration.
