This medication is used when patients present with symptoms of fatigue, cold extremities, and excessive urination or frequent thirst. Symptoms such as lower limb pain, back pain, and numbness may also appear. In addition, symptoms like vision impairment, itching, frequent urination, and difficulties in urination as well as edema can be observed in elderly individuals. This medication is used to alleviate these symptoms and improve overall health.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, an adult should take 1 packet (single dose) three times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant due to the potential risk of premature birth or miscarriage associated with the Moutan Cortex ingredient. It is also advisable for individuals with weak stomachs or those prone to diarrhea to avoid this medication, as it may cause decreased appetite, gastric discomfort, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea upon taking. Furthermore, this medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic conditions that prevent the breakdown of lactose should not take it. This includes people with galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
