Adult dose

Generally, for adults, take 1 packet (single dose) three times a day before meals or between meals.

This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. This is because the ingredient Cortex Moutan may increase the risk of premature birth or miscarriage. Additionally, it contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or specific genetic metabolic issues should avoid taking this product. People with hypertension, heart disease, or kidney disease should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. Consultation is also necessary if there is edema or if other medications are being taken. Particularly among the elderly, adjustment in dosage may be necessary due to diminished physical function. Individuals with weak stomachs or symptoms of appetite loss, nausea, or vomiting should also consult a professional before taking it. Those who have previously experienced skin rashes or itching from this medication or similar ones should exercise caution. For children, safety has not been sufficiently confirmed, and therefore its use is not recommended. If during use symptoms such as decreased urine output, facial or limb swelling, increased blood pressure, headaches, muscle weakness, or cramps occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. These symptoms may arise from electrolyte imbalance caused by the ingredient Licorice in this medication. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed method and dosage, and long-term use should be conducted under professional guidance. Particularly, taking this with potassium or licorice-containing medications, or certain diuretics, may increase the risk of side effects, thus caution is necessary.
