Precautions

This medication contains lactose. Therefore, people with genetic disorders that affect lactose digestion should not take this medication. Additionally, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication as it may lead to uterine contractions or pelvic organ congestion, increasing the risk of premature birth. Nursing mothers should also avoid this medication as it may transfer compounds that can cause diarrhea to breast milk, necessitating the cessation of breastfeeding. Elderly individuals may have diminished bodily function, hence consulting a specialist before taking the medication and potentially reducing the dosage is necessary. Those taking other medications should consult with a specialist as there may be interactions. If diarrhea or loose stools are present, consultation is needed before taking. People with weak stomachs should be cautious as symptoms like nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may occur. Individuals with very low vitality may easily experience more severe side effects, thus consulting a specialist is advised. Those who previously took this medication or similar drugs and experienced skin rash, redness, or itching should not take it. Individuals currently taking laxatives should not combine them with this medication. Children should be avoided as the safety of this medication has not been adequately confirmed. If during the use of this medication symptoms such as fever, cough, or respiratory difficulties, as well as liver function abnormalities, skin rashes, itching, abdominal pain, or diarrhea appear, the medication should be discontinued immediately and a specialist consulted. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve even after one week of use, a specialist should be consulted. This medication should be taken as per the prescribed method and dosage, particularly since the effects of the Daehwang ingredient can vary among individuals. Stimulant laxatives can lead to tolerance and potentially worsen constipation with long-term use, hence it is recommended not to continue use for more than a week. If daily laxatives are needed, it is important to identify and treat the underlying cause. Furthermore, when taking this medication along with other herbal or traditional herbal medicines, care should be taken to avoid overlapping ingredients, and products containing Daehwang should be particularly approached with caution. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, and seal tightly after use. Keep out of the reach of children, and it's safe to store in its original container.
