Precautions
This medication should not be used by individuals with fever due to inflammation or those who have been coughing for a long time due to weakness, those who vomit blood, newborns, nursing mothers, or pregnant women. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic disorders that prevent lactose breakdown should not take it. Those with high blood pressure, older individuals, those with heart or kidney problems, those with swelling in the body, and those currently undergoing treatment by a doctor must consult with a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication. If during use, there is a decrease in urine output, swelling of the face, hands or feet, heaviness of the eyelids, stiffness of the hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches, the medication should be discontinued immediately, and a professional should be consulted. Long-term use may lead to decreased potassium levels in the body, increased blood pressure, and swelling, so regular blood tests should be conducted, and if any abnormalities are found, the medication should be discontinued. If there is weakness in the muscles, cramps, or paralysis, the medication should also be stopped and a doctor should be consulted. Taking this medication with potassium-containing medications or certain diuretics can increase side effects, so caution is required. Long-term use may lead to symptoms such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, and weight gain, so it should be used cautiously. When storing, keep it tightly closed and in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture, and do not transfer it to another container.
