Precautions

This medicine should not be used for individuals with fever due to inflammation, those who are weak and have a fever with no energy, or those with dry cough. Also, this medicine contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or lactase deficiency, and hereditary problems such as glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Care should be taken when used in children with poor nutritional status or heat accumulation in the body. Individuals with high blood pressure, older adults, those with heart or kidney problems, those with swelling, and those receiving other treatments must consult with a physician or pharmacist before taking this medicine. If symptoms such as decreased urine output, severe swelling of the face or limbs, heavy eyelids, stiff hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult an expert. Long-term use of the licorice component in this medicine at excessive amounts can lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, elevated blood pressure, sodium and fluid retention causing swelling and weight gain. Therefore, regular blood tests to check the condition are necessary. Hypokalemia may cause muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis, so if these symptoms occur, discontinue use and seek advice. When taking this medicine, caution is required as the risk of side effects may increase if taken with potassium-containing preparations, other medications with licorice components, loop diuretics, or thiazide diuretics. For storage, keep it away from direct sunlight in a cool place with low humidity, and make sure to tightly close the lid for proper sealing. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, it is important not to transfer it to other containers.
