Alpirene Soft Capsules

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 capsule once a day after meals.

This medication should not be administered to women in the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant if the daily intake of vitamin A exceeds 5,000 IU. This is to reduce the risk of congenital malformations in the fetus. Additionally, individuals who are allergic to any components of this medication, infants under 12 months, and those with hypersensitivity to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts should not take it. During the use of this medication, it should not be taken with drugs such as phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, or antacids. Individuals who are under medical treatment or who have certain kidney diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, cardiovascular and circulatory diseases, hypoproteinemia, gout, hyperlipidemia, or diabetic dyslipidemia, as well as pregnant or lactating women, should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If abnormal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, skin rash, hair loss, or joint swelling occur during use, you should stop taking it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Particularly, caution is necessary if menstrual changes or prolonged bleeding occur. This medication should be strictly adhered to the prescribed dosage and instructions, and care should be taken to ensure that the total daily intake of vitamin A does not exceed 5,000 IU. It is advisable to avoid teas containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, during use as they may affect blood sugar test results. Patients with abnormal lipid metabolism or at risk of fat overload should check their plasma lipid levels before and during the use of this medication and adjust the dosage if necessary. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place sealed tightly. Additionally, to maintain its quality, it should not be transferred to another container.

Mild side effects

Nausea, vomiting, itching, dry and rough skin, painful joint swelling, gastric discomfort, diarrhea, constipation, rash, redness, dermatitis, odor during sweating and breathing, hair loss, irritability, menstrual irregularities with increased flow or duration, prolonged bleeding, hypernatremia, congestive heart failure, swelling, increased risk of osteoporosis post-menopause, possible hyperkalemia

Drug interactions

Do not take this medication with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline preparations, or antacids. Consult with a doctor or pharmacist when using it with oral contraceptives containing estrogen, anti-aldosterone agents, triamterene, or injectable lipids.

Food interactions

Avoid taking this medication with tea containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, before, during, or after use.

This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to avoid exposure to air or moisture. It is recommended to maintain a storage temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius.
