Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with certain skin infections. Especially, symptoms may worsen in cases of bacterial infections such as tuberculosis or syphilis, fungal infections such as candidiasis or ringworm, viral infections such as herpes zoster or herpes simplex, and animal skin infections such as scabies or lice. Additionally, it should not be used by those with allergies to this medication or its components or who have experienced hypersensitivity reactions. Patients with eczematous external otitis with a perforated tympanic membrane should also avoid use as healing may be delayed. It is advisable to refrain from using this medication if there are ulcers on the skin or severe burns or frostbite, as it may impede skin regeneration. Individuals with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea should avoid using this medication. Patients with hypersensitivity to aminoglycoside antibiotics should consult a doctor before use. Pregnant or possibly pregnant women, nursing mothers, and children should consult a specialist before using this medication. If any symptoms of infection, irritation, rash, itching, erythema, dryness, pus, skin discoloration, or acne-like symptoms appear during use, immediately discontinue use and consult a specialist. Prolonged use may lead to side effects such as skin thinning or vascular dilation, necessitating a gradual reduction in dosage and replacement with non-corticosteroid medications. Furthermore, extensive prolonged use or occlusive dressing can affect the entire body, potentially suppressing adrenal function, so caution is advised. Care should be taken when applying around the eyes due to the risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma. Prolonged use may result in excessive proliferation of skin fungi or resistant bacteria, at which point use should be discontinued and appropriate treatment sought. Pregnant or nursing mothers should avoid large or prolonged use of this medication, carefully weighing the risks and benefits if necessary. Children have a higher risk of side effects due to their larger surface area relative to weight, so only minimal amounts should be used under the supervision of a guardian. Caution is advised when used with occlusive dressings such as diapers due to the possibility of side effects. This medication should be used according to the prescribed method and dosage, and if therapeutic effects are not seen or symptoms worsen, discontinue use and consult a specialist immediately. Additionally, this medication is not intended for ophthalmic use, and it is advisable not to use it for therapeutic purposes after makeup or shaving. When using occlusive dressings, it must be done under medical supervision, and the affected area should be kept clean to reduce the risk of infection. Finally, keep this medication out of reach of children and store it securely closed in its original container.
