It is used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases in high-risk patients with multiple risk factors such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity. Overall, it plays a significant role in improving cardiovascular health by inhibiting thrombus formation.

How to take

Adult dose

Precautions

This medication should be used with extreme caution in individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily, as it increases the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding; it is essential to consult with a physician or pharmacist. For instance, individuals with allergies to this medication or similar drugs, those with peptic ulcers, individuals with aspirin-induced asthma or past experiences, hemophiliacs, patients with severe liver or kidney dysfunction, those with severely diminished cardiac function, individuals with bleeding tendencies, those taking high-dose methotrexate, and pregnant women in the third trimester should not use this medication. Symptoms such as skin rash, severe dermatitis, blood abnormality symptoms, gastrointestinal discomfort or bleeding, dizziness, headache, liver dysfunction, and renal impairment may appear, and if these symptoms occur, consult a physician. Particularly for children under 14 years old who have chickenpox or influenza, this medication should be used cautiously, and their condition should be closely monitored after administration. Interactions

Drug interactions

This medication may increase the risk of bleeding and decrease renal function when combined with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and salicylic acid products. It should not be combined with methotrexate at doses over 15 milligrams for a week.
