Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, or viruses. Patients who have allergies or hypersensitivity to this drug or its components should also avoid use. Patients with eczematous otitis externa with a perforated eardrum, ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite should refrain from using this medication. It is also advisable not to use this medication for perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. Anyone allergic to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin must consult with a healthcare professional before using this medication. Women who are pregnant, potentially pregnant, or breastfeeding, as well as children, should consult with a doctor or pharmacist before use. If unusual symptoms such as inflammation, itching, rash, redness, or pus appear on the skin during use, stop immediately and consult a professional. Long-term use can lead to skin thinning, rosacea, discoloration, etc., so caution is necessary. This medication may be systemically absorbed, leading to side effects such as pituitary or adrenal dysfunction, Cushing's syndrome, and hyperglycemia; therefore, avoid extensive or prolonged use. Especially when using occlusive dressings, these risks increase, so do not use without the guidance of a healthcare professional. When applying near the eyes, caution is necessary due to the risk of glaucoma or cataracts. Patients with impaired kidney function or hearing may experience kidney or vestibular dysfunction due to prolonged use of this drug, so caution is warranted. In children, a larger skin area relative to body weight may result in increased side effects, so use the minimum dose and supervise them. When using this medication, always adhere to the prescribed dosage and frequency, and discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve. Additionally, this medication should not be used for ophthalmological purposes, and applying it after makeup or shaving should be avoided. Finally, keep it out of reach of children, and store it in its original container securely sealed.
