This medication is used to treat constipation and helps to alleviate symptoms caused by constipation such as loss of appetite, abdominal bloating, intestinal fermentation, and hemorrhoids. Therefore, it is effective in improving intestinal health and reducing discomfort.
Dosage
Adults take 1 packet (4g) twice daily on an empty stomach (before meals or between meals). However, for the first dose, take the minimum amount and adjust the dosage gradually based on the shape and condition of the stool.
Precautions
This medicine should not be taken by patients with acute abdominal diseases or bowel obstruction, and children under 3 years old. It is advisable not to take this medicine within 1 hour after consuming antacids or milk during treatment. Patients with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting symptoms, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, people taking other medications, individuals with allergies, or those with a history of rectal bleeding or bowel dysfunction must consult a professional before taking this medicine. If symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, or vomiting occur, or if abdominal discomfort and cramps develop, stop taking the medicine immediately and consult a professional. If constipation does not improve even after about a week of use, discontinue use and consult a doctor. It is important to adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration, and long-term use may lead to tolerance and worsen constipation, so it should not be used continuously for more than one week. If daily constipation medication is required, the cause of constipation must be identified. This medicine should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. To prevent misuse of the medicine and maintain its quality, it is advisable not to transfer it to another container.
