Moreover, patients with genetic diseases that cannot break down lactose should not take this medication. Children in poor nutritional status or experiencing body heat accumulation should use this product cautiously. Individuals with high blood pressure, elderly patients, those with heart or kidney problems, and those with swelling should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. During the course of this medication, if symptoms such as decreased urine output, swelling of the face and extremities, heavy eyelids, stiffness in hands, headaches, or increased blood pressure appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a specialist. Caution is necessary as the licorice ingredient contained in this medication can lead to potassium deficiency, increased blood pressure, and body swelling if taken in significant amounts over a long duration. Due to potassium deficiency, symptoms such as muscle weakness, cramps, and paralysis may occur, and should this happen, treatment should be discontinued. While taking this medication, there is a greater risk of the aforementioned side effects occurring when combined with potassium-containing medications, other licorice-containing products, or certain diuretics. This product should be stored away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place, and must be tightly sealed after use. Additionally, transferring the medicine to another container can pose a risk of misuse; therefore, it should be kept in its original container.
