Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with fever due to inflammation, pregnant women, those who are weak or lack energy, individuals who have been coughing for a long time or who are coughing up blood, and those with a fever. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with genetic conditions that prevent lactose digestion should not take this medication. Side effects such as dry mouth or a crooked tongue may occur, so caution is advised. Individuals with high blood pressure, older adults, those with heart or kidney issues, individuals with body swelling, or those undergoing other treatments should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If urination decreases or if there is severe swelling of the face or limbs, eyelids feel heavy, hands become stiff, blood pressure rises, or headaches occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Long-term use of medications containing licorice can lower blood potassium levels, increase blood pressure, or cause body swelling; therefore, regular blood tests should be conducted to monitor the condition. Symptoms such as muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis may appear due to potassium deficiency; if these symptoms occur, discontinue the medication and consult a doctor. Care should be taken when using this medication with potassium-containing drugs, licorice components, or certain diuretics, as the risk of side effects increases. It is advisable not to use specific herbal ingredients Banha and Odu together. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and it must be tightly sealed after use and kept out of reach of children. Additionally, transferring the medication from its original container to another container can pose risks of misuse or quality degradation; therefore, it should be stored in its original container.
