Long-term use of this medicine may lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, edema, and weight gain, so potassium levels should be periodically monitored through blood tests. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis occur, stop taking it and consult an expert. This medicine contains glycyrrhizin, and there is a risk of side effects when more than 40 mg is taken per day, so caution is required. Additionally, when taken with potassium supplements, medications containing licorice, or certain diuretics, the risk of side effects may increase, so it should be taken with caution.
