Relief of constipation and hemorrhoid (fissure) symptoms
Individuals with hard stools and constipation may primarily experience issues such as hemorrhoids and fissures. Therefore, this medication is used to improve symptoms related to constipation and hemorrhoids and fissures.
Typically, adults take 1 sachet 3 times a day before or between meals.
This medication should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as the ingredients in this medication can cause uterine contractions increasing the risk of miscarriage or preterm birth. Breastfeeding women should also avoid taking this medication, as the ingredients can be passed into breast milk and may cause diarrhea in infants. Individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic disorders should not take this medication, as it contains lactose which can be problematic for these conditions. During the use of this medication, other diarrhea-inducing medications should not be taken together, as this may worsen side effects. Individuals with high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, or edema must consult a professional before taking this medication. Particularly, the elderly, current patients undergoing treatment, individuals with diarrhea symptoms or weak stomachs, and those with reduced appetite, nausea, or vomiting symptoms should exercise caution. Children or individuals who are physically weak, those who have previously experienced rashes or itching from medications, or those with a history of liver disease should also consult a professional before taking this. If unusual symptoms occur during use, such as swelling in the face or extremities or increased blood pressure, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. If symptoms such as muscle weakness, cramps, shortness of breath, liver function abnormalities, skin rash, or severe digestive symptoms arise, stop taking the medication immediately and inform healthcare personnel. This medication should generally not be taken for long periods, and if symptoms do not improve after a month of use, a consultation with a professional is necessary. Caution should be taken if combined with potassium-containing agents or licorice or certain diuretics, as the risk of side effects may increase. Strict adherence to the dosage and administration is necessary, and caution is especially important as the effects of the rhubarb ingredient may vary from person to person. Long-term use of irritant laxatives may lead to tolerance to the medication and worsened constipation, so it should not be used continuously for more than a week. When taking other herbal medicines or traditional remedies, it is important to be mindful of ingredient duplication, especially with products containing rhubarb. When storing, keep away from direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry place, ensuring it is out of reach of children. Medications should be stored in their original containers, as transferring them to different containers may lead to misuse or degradation of quality.
