Traditional Korean medicine insurance drugs are primarily used for traditional Korean treatment, based on traditional Korean medicine theories, to improve and treat various symptoms. It helps with indigestion, fatigue recovery, pain relief, and inflammation reduction, among others. These medicines are based on natural ingredients and contribute to restoring the body’s balance and improving health. Traditional Korean medicine insurance drugs are prescribed according to the individual patient's condition to assist in safer and more effective treatment. Therefore, they are usefully applied as an adjunct to traditional treatment.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with inflammatory fevers. This medication contains lactose, thus individuals with lactose intolerance, lactose enzyme deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or other genetic issues should not take it. Patients with pediatric nutritional disorders or those exhibiting phlegm-heat symptoms should use this medication with caution. Patients with high blood pressure, the elderly, those with heart or kidney problems, or individuals with edema must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. Patients experiencing diarrhea or loose stools, those with weak stomachs, loss of appetite, nausea, or vomiting, and individuals with severely weakened physical condition should also consult experts before taking this medication. If urine volume decreases, the face or hands and feet swell, eyelids become heavy, stiff hands occur, blood pressure increases, or headaches occur after taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Prolonged use may result in hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, edema, and weight gain, so regular blood potassium levels should be checked, and use should be discontinued if abnormalities are detected. Hypokalemia may result in muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis-like muscle disorders, thus if these symptoms occur, stop taking it and consult an expert immediately. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as loss of appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea necessitate discontinuation of use and consultation. Caution is needed when using alongside potassium preparations, licorice-based ingredients, and specific diuretics, as the risk of hypokalemia and muscle disorders increases. The laxative effect of the rhubarb component varies by individual, so it is essential to strictly adhere to the dosage and administration, and stimulant laxatives should not be used for more than a week. When using with other Korean medicine formulations, care should be taken to avoid ingredient overlap, particularly with preparations containing rhubarb. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication due to the risk of uterine contractions and premature birth.
