How to use

Adult use

For sterilization and disinfection of the surgeon's hands and arms: Take 5mL of this medication and rub it on the hands and arms for about 2 minutes and 30 seconds to generate sufficient foam, then thoroughly wash with running water. For hand sterilization: Take 5mL of this medication and rub it on the hands for about 1 minute, then thoroughly wash with running water. For sterilization and disinfection of the surgical site: Apply this medication directly or use an appropriate amount to rub well and generate sufficient foam, then wipe with sterile gauze.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, individuals who are allergic to this medication or its components, those with thyroid dysfunction, those with impaired kidney function, infants younger than 6 months, patients with herpetic dermatitis, and individuals undergoing treatment with radioactive iodine should not use this medication. Additionally, patients with severe symptoms, elderly patients with a history of thyroid disease, and those who have had kidney issues should use this medication cautiously. When using this medication, allergic reactions may occur, so if symptoms such as difficulty breathing, skin rash, or itching arise, use should be discontinued immediately. Skin pain, irritation, rashes, redness, dermatitis, and ulcers may occur, and if these symptoms are severe, use should stop. Using large amounts may result in electrolyte imbalance, metabolic disorders, or decreased kidney function, so caution is advised. Prolonged use may lead to changes in thyroid hormone levels, necessitating regular monitoring of thyroid function. Furthermore, this medication may affect thyroid test results, so it is advisable to have testing done 1-2 weeks apart before and after administration.
