This medication is used for allergic or inflammatory skin diseases accompanied by secondary infections, such as eczema, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, photodermatitis, chronic simple lichen, and various skin inflammations including itching, psoriasis, and first-degree burns.

Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (area of disease) 1 to 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections as it may worsen symptoms. People with hypersensitivity to this medication or who have previously experienced such reactions should avoid its use. In cases of eardrum perforation, ulcers, severe burns, frostbite, or other skin injuries, it is advisable to avoid use as skin regeneration may be delayed. Individuals with perioral dermatitis or common acne, rosacea should also refrain from using this medication. Those who are allergic to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin should use this medication cautiously as it may cause allergic reactions. Women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, nursing mothers, and children must consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If signs of skin infection, allergic reaction, skin irritation, rash, itching, or redness occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Prolonged use or use over large areas may cause side effects such as hormonal abnormalities, skin atrophy, pigment changes, so caution is needed. Especially when used with occlusive dressings or large quantities for extended periods, systemic side effects may occur, thus follow the doctor's instructions. Children may be more sensitive to side effects than adults, so it should be used in the minimum effective dose under adult supervision. This medication should not be used around the eyes as it may cause increased intraocular pressure or eye diseases such as glaucoma. Treatment duration varies with symptoms, but if improvement is not seen in 3 to 4 weeks, it is advisable to discontinue use and consult a specialist. This medication is not for ophthalmic use, nor should it be used for purposes other than those specified, such as after makeup or shaving. After use, store out of the reach of children and keep tightly closed in the original container.

Signs of sensitization (redness, swelling, papules, vesicles, etc.), severe skin symptoms with fever, severe allergic reactions, severe edema or urinary abnormalities, kidney function abnormalities, renal failure, vestibular dysfunction, intracranial hypertension, adrenal function suppression, Cushing's syndrome, HPA axis suppression, acute adrenal cortical hormone symptoms, chronic toxicity, psoriatic erythroderma, pustular psoriasis, severe skin infections (bacterial, viral infections), severe skin abnormalities

Mild side effects

Folliculitis, pimples, skin irritation, pain, fever, burning sensation, itching, rash, redness, flushing, dry skin, pustular dermatitis, heat rash, worsening of wounds, pressure sores, pustulosis, skin discoloration, hirsutism, acneiform eruptions, depigmentation, perioral dermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis, skin softening, secondary infection, skin atrophy, striae, temporary skin irritation (erythema, itching), steroid acne, steroid-induced skin changes (skin atrophy)

Storage

This medication must be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent exposure to air or moisture. Additionally, it is best stored at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius.
