This medication helps relieve acute and chronic pain, and is used in the treatment of gastritis, duodenal ulcers, and esophagitis. It is also effective in improving stomach pain symptoms caused by digestive disorders during radiation therapy. In other words, it is widely used for various gastrointestinal diseases and pain management.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults take ½ - 1 packet (1 packet: 10 mL) four times a day.

Precautions

This medicine should not be used in patients who have had allergic reactions to this drug or in patients undergoing dialysis. Caution should be exercised when used in patients taking other medications, as there may be drug interactions. Digestive symptoms such as diarrhea, constipation, and abdominal bloating may occur during use, and hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash or numbness may also occur. There is also a risk of phosphate deficiency, hypermagnesemia, renal failure, and dry mouth or altered taste may rarely occur. If these symptoms persist or worsen, the dosage should be reduced or discontinued and medical consultation should be sought. Headache, drowsiness, dizziness, and weakness can also rarely occur, so caution is advised. It should be avoided during the first three months of pregnancy, and information about whether it is secreted in breast milk is not yet known. It is advisable not to use in patients who have experienced hypermagnesemia or deficiency, intestinal stricture, acute appendicitis, and infants under three months of age. Patients with impaired kidney function should adjust the dosage and regularly monitor their condition when using it for extended periods. Caution is necessary as aluminum can accumulate in the nervous system and bones, and the prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly adhered to. If symptoms do not improve after more than two weeks of use, it is advisable to discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist. When taking this medicine, it is advisable to swallow it quickly to avoid leaving a numb sensation in the mouth, and avoid drinking beverages immediately after taking it, as it may reduce the effectiveness. Long-term continuous use is not recommended. Patients with a history of kidney disease should always consult with healthcare personnel before taking this medication. In addition, taking this medication with aluminum-containing drugs may affect the absorption of the medication, so it is advisable to avoid taking other medications within 1-2 hours after taking this drug. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place to maintain quality. It is important not to transfer it to other containers.
