This medication is used to relieve gastrointestinal-related symptoms such as stomach pain, heartburn, indigestion, and nausea.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 2 tablets at a time, and if symptoms do not improve after more than 5 hours, take another 2 tablets. However, do not exceed 2 doses (4 tablets) in a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients undergoing treatment for blood disorders, kidney or liver diseases, gastrointestinal or duodenal diseases, or immune system diseases such as asthma or rheumatoid arthritis. Patients taking steroids, antibiotics, anticancer drugs, or azole antifungals should exercise caution when taking this medication as it may decrease white blood cell or platelet counts. Individuals with a history of blood abnormalities such as anemia, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenia should avoid using this medication as symptoms may worsen. Patients with hypersensitivity to H2 histamine receptor antagonists should also refrain from taking this medication. It is not recommended for children, especially those under 15 years of age, as safety has not been established, and elderly patients over 80 years may experience increased drug concentration and side effects due to impaired kidney function. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as those who are breastfeeding, should not take this medication as its safety has not been established and it may be transmitted through breast milk, requiring nursing to be discontinued. Patients taking other medications or under medical care should be cautious due to potential drug interactions that may cause side effects or diminish efficacy. Individuals with a history of hypersensitivity should also exercise caution when using this medication. Patients experiencing symptoms such as sore throat, cough, or high fever may be at risk for serious infections and should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication. If unexplained weight loss or persistent abdominal pain occurs, other conditions may be present, so it is advised to consult a professional before taking this medication. If any allergic symptoms, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, muscle pain, or other abnormal symptoms occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. In case of severe symptoms such as chest tightness, pale complexion, cold sweat, or difficulty breathing, seek immediate medical consultation. If skin rash, blisters, or severe symptoms in the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat occur with high fever, discontinue use immediately and visit a medical institution. Symptoms such as sore throat, fever, fatigue, and easy bruising may also occur, so caution is advised. If jaundice symptoms develop, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If symptoms do not improve after taking the medication for three days, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist, as other conditions may be present. This medication should not be taken for more than two weeks and alcohol consumption should be avoided during use. Exceeding the prescribed dosage can be dangerous, so it should be taken strictly according to instructions. This medication should not be taken with other gastrointestinal medications, and there may be interactions with some antibiotics that can inhibit absorption. Patients undergoing dialysis should not take this medication. Patients with a history of kidney disease should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Keep out of reach of children, store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.   • Severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing (respiratory distress), cold sweat, paleness → severe allergic reaction
  • Severe rash, redness, blisters due to fever, skin peeling, and mucosal pain in the mouth and throat → severe skin adverse reaction
  • Jaundice → liver dysfunction (jaundice)

Mild side effects

Rash, redness, itching, swelling, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, muscle pain, sore throat, fatigue, whiteness in the inside of the face and eyelids, easy bruising (bleeding gums, nosebleeds, etc.)

Storage
