Improvement of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, and urticaria
This medication is used for skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, urticaria, insect bites, psoriasis, and palmoplantar pustulosis. These conditions are all associated with skin inflammation, itching, and rashes, and this medication helps alleviate symptoms and improve skin condition.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1-2 times a day, adjusting dosage according to symptoms. Additionally, occlusive therapy may be carried out depending on the symptoms.
This medication is a steroid used to reduce inflammation and allergic reactions on the skin. However, it should not be used if there is a skin infection caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as it may worsen the symptoms. People with hypersensitivity to this medication or who have experienced allergic reactions should not take it. Patients with eczema of the external ear with a perforated eardrum should be cautious when using this medication, as it may delay wound healing and increase the risk of infection. It is advisable not to use this medication on patients with skin ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as it may hinder skin regeneration. Patients with dermatitis around the mouth, common acne, or rosacea should also avoid using this medication. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding mothers, should use this medication cautiously, as it can affect the fetus or newborn. Older adults and children should be more cautious, as the side effects of the medication may occur more easily in these age groups. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, and those with an allergy to this ingredient must inform before use. Using this medication may lead to skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, or viruses, and if symptoms of infection arise, use should be stopped immediately and consulted with a doctor. Symptoms such as skin dryness, irritation, rashes, itching, or pain may occur, and if these symptoms worsen, use should be discontinued. Long-term or extensive use can lead to side effects such as acne, skin thinning, vascular dilation, and changes in skin color due to steroids. Care should be taken as extensive use of this medication or occlusive therapy can suppress hormonal function due to systemic steroid effects. It should be avoided around the eyes, as it can lead to increased intraocular pressure, glaucoma, or cataracts. In eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infection, it should be used only after appropriate treatment with antimicrobial or antifungal agents, or in conjunction with them. When used extensively or under occlusion, it is important to check for side effects through blood tests or hormone function tests. Once symptoms improve, it is advisable to discontinue use as soon as possible, and if symptoms worsen, use should be stopped immediately. During pregnancy, large amounts or long-term use should be avoided and, if necessary, should be used cautiously under the judgment of a physician. In case of breastfeeding, attention is needed as the medication can be transmitted through breast milk. Children should be used with special care, as their skin surface area relative to body weight is larger, making side effects more likely. Using this medication in areas covered by diapers can increase the risk of side effects due to the occlusive effect. Elderly patients may have diminished physiological functions, so close monitoring during medication use is required due to the high risk of side effects. This medication is not used for ophthalmic purposes and should not be used for skin treatment after cosmetics or shaving. Occlusive therapy must be used only under medical guidance, and the affected area should be cleaned beforehand to reduce the risk of infection. Keep this medication out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
Infectious diseases (bacterial, fungal, viral skin infections), increased intraocular pressure, glaucoma, cataracts, suppression of pituitary-adrenal axis function, Cushing's syndrome, hyperglycemia, diabetes
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
This medication should be stored in a tightly sealed container to prevent air or moisture ingress, preferably at room temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius. This storage method ensures the safe maintenance of the medication's efficacy.
