Treatment of allergic and inflammatory skin diseases (eczema, contact dermatitis, etc.) and first-degree burns
This medication is effective for various allergic and inflammatory skin diseases accompanied by secondary infections, such as eczema, contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, and others. It can also be used for various skin inflammation symptoms like seborrheic dermatitis, photosensitivity dermatitis, chronic simple lichen, intertrigo, and exfoliative dermatitis. It helps relieve itching and is useful in the treatment of psoriasis, as well as for first-degree burns. It is used to control skin inflammation and infection simultaneously to improve symptoms.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.
This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections, as symptoms may worsen. Individuals with hypersensitivity to this medication or past allergic reactions should not use it. Patients with eczema of the external auditory canal who have a perforated eardrum should be cautious, as healing may be delayed when using this medication. It is advisable not to use this medication on skin with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite, as skin regeneration may be inhibited, delaying healing. This medication is not suitable for patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea. Patients allergic to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin should avoid using this medication. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding mothers, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. When used in children or minors, it should be used with caution under the supervision of an adult. If symptoms such as skin infections, irritation, rash, itching, or redness occur, use should be stopped immediately, and consultation with a specialist is required. Long-term or extensive use may suppress pituitary or adrenal function, so caution is needed. When using around the eyes, increased intraocular pressure or risk of glaucoma should be considered. Prolonged use may cause skin thinning, changes in skin color, hirsutism, and acne; if symptoms appear, the dosage should be reduced or usage halted. Even with local use, systemic effects may occur, particularly with extensive or occlusive dressings, and regular monitoring is required. Patients with impaired kidney function or hearing problems should avoid long-term use and undergo kidney function tests if necessary. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a specialist before using this medication, as it may affect the fetus or baby. Children absorb more medication relative to their body surface area, increasing the risk of side effects; minimal dosages should be used. In situations like diaper use or other occlusive dressing methods, excessive absorption of the medication may occur, so caution is warranted. Long-term or excessive use may result in adrenal dysfunction or side effects such as Cushing's syndrome, and symptoms should be discussed with a specialist immediately. Patients with psoriasis should exercise caution, as prolonged high-dose use may worsen their skin condition. This medication contains ingredients that may cause irritation to the skin or mucous membranes and may cause discomfort during use. If blurred vision or visual impairment occurs, an immediate consultation with an ophthalmologist is necessary. Sudden discontinuation after prolonged inappropriate use may lead to severe skin redness and painful localized steroid withdrawal syndrome, so caution is necessary. This medication should not be used directly in the eyes, and should be avoided after makeup or shaving to the skin.
