Precautions

This medication is an eye drop used to relieve allergy symptoms. It should not be used by those who have had an allergic reaction to this medication or any of its ingredients, and it is not safe for children under 1 year of age. It is advisable not to use with other eye drops during the treatment, especially caution should be exercised when used with certain oral medications as it may weaken the central nervous system or reduce platelet count. After using the medication, there may be temporary blurred vision, drowsiness, or sedative effects, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating machinery until vision is clear and drowsiness has subsided. Patients undergoing treatment, those receiving allergy treatment, or women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. If redness or irritation in the eyes persists, or if eyelid inflammation occurs, or if symptoms do not improve, use should be stopped immediately and medical consultation sought. Using this medication may cause temporary stinging, redness, swelling, or itching as side effects, so the prescribed dosage and administration must be strictly adhered to and it should only be used for eye drops. During instillation, care should be taken not to let the tip of the container touch the eyelid or eyelashes, and contaminated solution should not be used. When using other eye drops, a minimum interval of 5 minutes should be maintained between administrations. This medication is not likely to cause overdose if accidentally ingested orally, but it should not be used while wearing soft contact lenses and lenses should be applied at least 15 minutes after administration. It should be stored at a temperature between 15 to 25 degrees Celsius as it may be sensitive to air and moisture and must be kept in a tightly sealed container. Furthermore, it should not be used 4 weeks after opening and should be kept out of reach of children. Additionally, medications should be stored in their original container, as transferring to another container may lead to quality deterioration or misuse.
