Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with inflammation, those who are weak or have a fever. In cases where the licorice component is included in significant amounts, prolonged use may lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, edema, and increased blood pressure; therefore, it is necessary to regularly monitor blood potassium levels. If muscle weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis symptoms occur, this medication should be discontinued, and medical personnel should be consulted. When taken with potassium supplements, licorice, or certain diuretics, the risk of hypokalemia and muscle-related side effects may increase, requiring caution. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, with the lid tightly closed, and should not be transferred to another container to maintain quality.
