This medication should not be used by individuals with inflammatory fever, newborns, nursing mothers, or pregnant women. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so individuals with genetic issues such as galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take it. Individuals with high blood pressure, the elderly, patients with heart or kidney issues, those with swelling, individuals receiving medical treatment, malnourished children, and those with damp heat symptoms must consult with a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If you experience a decrease in urine output, swelling of the face, hands, or feet, heaviness of the eyelids, stiffness of the hands, increased blood pressure, or headaches while taking this medication, you should stop taking it immediately and consult an expert. As this medication contains licorice, prolonged use may lead to symptoms such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, swelling, and weight gain; therefore, serum potassium levels should be monitored periodically. Symptoms such as muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis may occur due to hypokalemia, so if such symptoms appear, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Furthermore, side effects such as dry mouth or a thickened tongue may occur, so caution is advised. The risk of hypokalemia or muscle pathology may increase if this medication is taken alongside potassium-containing preparations, licorice-containing preparations, loop diuretics, or thiazide diuretics; therefore, use with caution. It is recommended to avoid using this medication together with the ingredients Banha and Odoo.
