Long-term use of this medicine requires periodic testing of blood potassium levels; if signs of hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, swelling, etc., appear, discontinue use. Muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis may occur due to hypokalemia, so if these symptoms appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a professional. Caution should be exercised as the ingredients in this medicine may cause side effects such as increased blood pressure or swelling if taken over a certain amount for an extended period. Side effects such as dry mouth or tongue distortion may occur.
