Adult dose

For adults, take 2 capsules at a time, 2-3 times a day. Adjust dosage according to age and symptoms.

This medicine should not be used by individuals who have had allergic reactions to this medicine or its components. Additionally, individuals taking levodopa should not take this medicine. This medicine contains lactose, so individuals with genetic conditions such as galactose intolerance, lactose deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine. Caution is advised when taking this medicine for individuals with chronic active hepatitis or cirrhosis. Individuals who have had allergic reactions or hypersensitivity to the dye Yellow No. 5 included in this medicine should also take this medicine with caution. After taking the medicine, symptoms such as dry mouth, nausea, skin rash, itching, and redness may occur. If these symptoms appear, discontinuing the medication or taking an allergy medication may resolve the symptoms. Jaundice may temporarily appear; in such cases, discontinuing the medicine or using jaundice treatment can help improve the condition. Rarely, nausea, abdominal bloating, constipation, and discomfort in the upper abdomen may occur. Adverse reactions after taking this medicine are very rare, with about 0.82% reporting abnormal symptoms in domestic studies. Reported symptoms include nausea, constipation, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, skin rash, itching, and heartburn. Newly reported adverse reactions include abdominal pain, dyspepsia, heartburn, and elevated liver enzymes. Pyridoxine hydrochloride included in this medicine may reduce the effectiveness of levodopa, so it is advisable not to take them together. Additionally, isoniazid, penicillamine, and estrogen preparations such as oral contraceptives increase the requirement for vitamin B6, so caution is needed. Those taking altretamine and cisplatin for ovarian cancer treatment should not take this medicine together. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take this medicine. Elderly individuals may have reduced physical functions, so dosage should be adjusted or taken with caution. This medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Furthermore, removing the medicine from its original packaging and placing it in another container can lead to misuse or deterioration of the quality of the medicine; thus, it must be kept in the original container and tightly closed.
