Interactions
Drug interactions
This medication should not be taken with phosphates, calcium salts, oral tetracycline antibiotics, or antacids. Additionally, when taken with iron-containing products, anti-aldosterone agents, triamterene, diphosphonate salts, thyroxine, cefdinir products, quinolones, penicillamine, cholestyramine, pancreatic extracts, vitamin E, and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) exceeding 200 mg, consulting a doctor or pharmacist is advised.
Food interactions
